Hi John,

I'm puzzled when you say the fan comes on after 15 minutes. If you have a
stock TR8, there should be a point where the fans come on at slow speed ,
at about 200 degrees, and then at high speed at around 215 degrees. Does
your car do this? It sounds as if you do not have the low speed function to
keep things under control. The low speed is controlled with a thermostatic
switch mounted on the drivers side of the radiator.
