>Hi All,
Anyone have "the fix" for sealing the pipe that goes from the head to
the heater
valve? I still have a water seeping problem after trying teflon tape
then the paste
based teflon pipe sealant. Neither worked.

Is it leaking ffom the threads or elsewhere? It is possible that the pipe
is rusted through and weeping through the pits? If not then the threads
are leaking because either there is crud in the threads or you aren't
cranking the pipe in enough.

When using tape put two or three wraps around the pipe and screw the pipe
into the head until it feels tight. Then turn it one more revolution.

And make sure the threads in the head are clean and not corroded away.
