TR6 clutch master

Can someone confirm something for me? When I push the clutch pedal on my
TR6, it shoves the piston in the master cylinder, forcing fluid along to
the slave. Question: is there a seal that stops the fluid going up and
out the end of the master into the master cylinder reservoir?
