Odd brake problem

Ken,

Sometimes the flexible brake lines will swell up internally and cause the 
fluid not to return to the master cylinder.  You have to take them off to check 
them, and by holding them straight you should be able to see light through a 
nice round hole in the line.  If they are old it's best to replace them anyway.
