Original finish was brushed aluminum. When I put a new engine in my 73 I had it
bead blasted and finished it with Crystal Clear Powder Coat. It looks great and
has held up well for the past two years.

What is the original finish of the stock intake manifold of the 75 TR6? I
have cleaned up my manifold and I am unsure of how this originally came from
the
factory. Was there a silver painted surface or just the brushed/polished
aluminum? If it was painted, do I need to use a high temp paint or will low
temp
suffice? Tom Miller 75 TR6 CF36713 U
