The intake manifold is not brushed but rather left original as casted.  A
good bead blasting will go a long way.  I did mine 7 years ago and did
nothing else and it still looks presentable (mind you, not like it just
rolled off the assembly line).

What is the original finish of the stock intake manifold of the 75 TR6? I
have cleaned up my manifold and I am unsure of how this originally came from
the
factory. Was there a silver painted surface or just the brushed/polished
aluminum? If it was painted, do I need to use a high temp paint or will low
temp
