Sorry if my reply seemed a bit terse. I'm often not at my best first
thing in the morning when the tea water is still heating.
If people were banned for asking seemingly dumb questions I would have
long been banned from every list I've been on.

Poor boy! I at least got to drive my TR3A for about 2-1/2 years before
it came apart for a lengthy rebuild. I think it was only the memories
of those drives that let me persevere through to the end and get the car
back on the road again. That plus an overdose of tenacity. Best of
luck seeing the project through to the end!

Which gets me back to my original point. It never hurts to actually
look at the manual and the vehicle then make your best guess before
posting a how-to or "will this work" type question. Trying to figure
out an answer first often gives you enough insight to make a question
more specific. People always want to be helpful but I've noticed that
they seem more eager to be helpful when they think you are stuck on a
problem than if you seem to be just idly day dreaming.

Don't worry the thought police are very lax around here. It usually
takes major nastiness to get banned. And even then you almost need to
be major nasty multiple times.
