Hi folks,

I'm almost ready to pull the engine out of the TR3A for overhaul, but I have a
question about how and where to attach the lifting chains. I have removed
everything from the front of the car (front cowl, radiator, etc...everything
is gone), and I plan to use my shop crane to pull the engine and gearbox
straight out the front of the car. It seems pretty straightforward, but since
I don't have those "lifting eyes" on my engine I'm not sure where to hook up
the chains. I'm thinking maybe I can go under a couple of head nuts (with
some washers), but I don't know if the studs are long enough for that. Is
there another good place to bolt the chains...like maybe under some rocker
assy bolts, or is that a no-no?

Please send any replies to my home email: banjonut@verizon.net since I get
the digest form of the list.

Many thanks in advance,

Steve Ball
