While it may seem the same the 4 and 4A have different front suspensions
hence the need for different shocks.

I have a 63 TR4. Moss and Roadster Factory list different part numbers for
the 4 and 4A. Physically I think that they must be the same, so different
damping rates? Does anyone know the difference? Could it be the change to
IRS and overall handling characteristics?
