I didn't see a response to this.=C2=A0 The lever itself is easily removed a=
lthough you will have to remove the boot first.=C2=A0 And probably the yoke=
.=C2=A0 The rest is part of the transmission cover.=C2=A0 You can pull that=
, too, but you will need to remove the transmission cover (that big, cardbo=
ard (or, in my case, plastic) part).=C2=A0 And make that a maybe.=C2=A0 Is =
there enough clearance to pull the shifter forks clear of the synchros with=
 the heater in place?

Very belated update on rear dampers. Put in 10W motorcycle fork oil and I=
=E2=80=99m satisfied with the result. I was afraid it might be too soft but=
 not so.=20
