Many years ago when I rebuilt this transmission, I put new springs in the sy=
nchro hubs and selector shafts. The shifting effort was greater than the ori=
ginal transmission it replaced. So I want to check the release load on the s=
elector shafts (I can=E2=80=99t say that I have never made a mistake). If it=
=E2=80=99s the synchro springs the I=E2=80=99ll just live with it.=20
