These treatments have been around forever and in some of the serious venues
such as my observation of it in formula Atlantic a few years back. I'm sure
someone with experience will tell all about it . . . I would guess that
it's a solvent that softens the surface and gives you a sticky tire for a
couple of laps.

Has anyone had any experience with treatment (snake oil) for tires. Some of
the Saturday night circle track guys around here have been touting this
stuff. They claim that it is especially helpful for "older" race tires.
