What's all this fuss about rusty leaf spring on a British car. The only
reason they are rusty is because it hasn't been driven. Throw a little gas
in it, check the oil and drive it for a day or so. The springs will be
nicely "painted with oil" like the Morgan Manual suggests in just a few
days.
