In addition to what Jack said, locking tabs (especially when reused) can
break off and you don't want that.  Also, Loctite will leave crap in your
threads after hardening and the next time you go to install rod or main cap
bolts you are likely to not get a correct torque reading as a result of the
above mentioned crap.  Best thing is new bolts, a bit of oil on the threads,
and properly torqued.  No locking tabs, etc.
