The Snell SA helmets are tested for a whole different set of things.
M/C helmets mainly have to deal with impact from about 6' to the pavement,
with a low "frequency" on re-impact -- head hits the pavement, bounces up to
natural limit due to velocity, comes back down, etc.
Racing helmets have to deal with multi-angle impacts with high frequency
of re-impact -- car hits something, head hits rollbar, bounces to limit
of seatbelts, pulls back into roll bar *much* faster... or hits other bar,
or hits at a different angle due to the fact that the thing it's colliding
with is also moving...
So it's really *NOT* the same thing at all. The nomex liner is just an
added bonus. Nothing like having your head on fire *while* it's bouncing
into roll bars...
