NO RULES HAVE CHANGED!!! How else can I say it??? This is only an attempt to
reconcile the official weight when these items have been removed.

The official weights were calculated assuming all of the proper pieces were
on the car. If you take something off, then we have to figure that into the
equation, that's all.

I would prefer cars to have the correct parts for their stated period but do
not intend to reverse a 20 year trend in Vintage Racing overnight.

This all comes from racers watching each other rather than doing their
homework and finding out what is correct, not what they can get away with.

All of the Vintage Racing organizations must share the blame for this
situation. At this point in time most of the nitpickers like me have given
up
or just learned to keep their mouths shut.
