I am not going to jump into the discussion about age
related discounts from the VTR, but I would like to
respectfully disagree with the statement about hot
rodders not being interested in British cars. I
drive my GT6 to a lot of local street rod cruise
nights and it always attracts a lot of lookers. A
friend of mine with an Austin Healey is also a
regular at these things. Try it yourself, you might
be pleasantly surprised. As for younger drivers, when
I see a small kid looking my car over, I always open
the door and invite him/her to sit in it, unlike the
guys with the $5000 paint jobs and "do not touch"
signs all over their cars. You oughta see their
eyes light up.
