Well if you look at ur renewal form, where it says what is required every year ie emissions/ inspections, on vintage neither is listed as being required. She is wrong. However like I said earlier some DMV folks are smarter than others. If u have an inspection first time around u should be fine. After that it doesn't hurt to have one in the car in case the cop doesn't the law either
