[Roadsters] Clutch Master Cylinder Removal?

Now the next step in the saga of attempting to fix my clutch actuating
problem.  I am attempting to remove the clutch master cylinder and I have hit
a roadblock.  I have removed the two nuts holding the assembly to the firewall
and disconnected the line that leads down to the slave cylinder; but I cannot
pull the master cylinder off of the firewall.  How do I get it off the
firewall?
