[Roadsters] Driver's door glass

Group,

My driver's door glass has never operated correctly from day one and has
since gotten to the point where it does roll up or down. I exposed the
inside of the door and found that the glass was not in the lower/bottom
assembly and that the assembly was not inserted into the front and rear arm
rollers. Upon inspection, the wing window guide and outer door guides are
intact. I checked the outer guide lower bracket and it is intact and secure.

The only way I can see how all of the pieces must go together is to install
the lower/bottom assembly onto the two roller arms amd secure the plastic
retainer on the rear arm. I also removed the wing window assembly. I then
inserted the glass into the lower arm pressing it into the lower/bottom
assemblies rubber "U" shaped gasket. I applied a small amount of white
grease to the rubber gasket to help insert the glass into the gasket. I then
installed the wing window assembly with the bottomer front and back of the
glass riding in the channels. When I rolled the window up and down the glass
came out of the lower/bottomer assembly. Any ideas on the proper procedure
for correctly installing the glass into the up/down window assembly?

Thanks

Steb
