[Roadsters] Alternator question

Jim:
I started to go with the GM one wire and set all fuses up to protect the
wiring from the potential of 55 amp surge that was a potential.  Then
realized that with the roadster in essentially stock condition that the need
for any more than the 30 amp standard alternator was non existent.  So I
rebuilt the stock unit.  It has been noted in another post If you do not
need it leave it alone.
There are extensive discussions on the web (311s) and others if you want to
change things--but
