[Fot] TR4 IRS rear axles

Hi Gang, I've only been playing with Triumphs for 6 years or so, but I've
read a lot and talked to a lot of folks during that time. Including reading
Kas' books.
"In the day" by what I recall, Kas replaced the hubs every 2 or 3 races. I
don't know how often the axles were replaced. Kas?
I know that the hubs are very suspect; they broke a lot. Not sure about the
axles.
I went with Richard's hubs a while back. I still use stock axles, with the
uprated U-joints, and have had no problems. And am making much more power
now. Just make sure the splines are good and keep them greased.
New hubs are a must; how much cash you have to spend may influence the axle
purchase!
Good luck,
Bill Tobin TR6 (knocked another 10 seconds off my lap times at the Glen 3
weeks ago!)
