After Brad's E mail I started looking through my email correspondence
with Kim (all 3 of them). Originally she had contacted me with two
suggestions for Calgary. In the meantime I had already looked at hotels
and had rejected the ones she had suggested based on their location, and
had made my own arrangements.

Based on the DIY nature of the tour I just negotiated a rate with hotels
that didn't require me to commit to a certain number of rooms, and all
the participants had to do was mention JONAT to get the rate. Most did
that, and a few were trying to save a few dollars and went camping in
the mountains instead.

As far as I was aware, after our first few emails I thought that Kim
knew that I had everything covered for my sector and she didn't need to
worry about me. Apparently I was wrong?
