[Nobbc] Front Plate petition

 Talking of license plates, not sure if the members know or are interested but
on July 1st this year you will be able to register your 1963 thru1969 vehicle
with YOM (year of manufacture) license plates. This means if you can find a
matched set of black plates that are not assigned to a vehicle you can
register them to your own vehicle to complete that classic look. I have been
following the price of CA black plates on ebay and they have doubled in price
over the last year, a good set is $300!! A set that needs restoring are around
$150!

FWIW, I took my front plate off last year and haven't been bothered about it
yet, even by a CHP who pulled me over and gave me an award for going really
fast. ;-)  I guess I've been lucky so far.  Can you contest it and say it fell
off?
