[Nobbc] Need to get a 79 Spitfire 1500 smogged

I like these car/love affair stories. Mine were mostly with the car rather
than the girl - and I guess that cost me. My story is about a Healey 100-4 I
purchased in Washington DC when I was at OCS, Quantico VA, 1956. The Healey
was ice blue in color, so I named her Ice Babe, and spent weekend liberties
touring the gorgeous Virginia backroads. After completion of the Basic
School, I drove Ice Babe from Quantico to Mill Valley with a stop in St
Louis for beer with a fellow Marine and then on to Reno where I showed a
former girlfriend 100 mph plus on the speedo, legal in Nevada, then. (
Golly, the things we remember!) I was shipped out for a two year tour in
Asia, so I (unfortunatly) decided to sell Ice Babe. I still regret that...
My next was an MGA, quickly replaced by a Morgan +4. And so it goes...
