Hmmm....

Torque steer, handling and shifting all seem out of whack after doing a
clutch job...

I'm gonna have to lean towards the one-problem multiple-solutions mindset on
this one. You need to start by checking the alignment of the subframe. A
poorly aligned subframe will cause all three problems you mentioned. Do you
have rubber subframe bushings? How old?

As for the CE light... check your codes. I started getting the light above
75 mph last week and it is a dieing HEGO sensor.
