Ron, could you post this on SHOtimes, thanks.

Well I have been developing a soft spot for a Gen I, heaven know why the AWA
would kill me if I brought another SHO home. Remember I am suppose to be
saving for a wedding. But since this one was in my bad yard, I thought what
the heck I would go take a look.

Unfortunately I couldn't meet the owner because of conflicting schedules but
I went to take a look at the SHO anyway. It's been sitting outside for some
time now and it has a couple of flats. It supposedly has new rear struts
with mounts and new brakes. I couldn't tell about the brakes due to the
rust on the rotors. It does have a new catback exhaust (brand ?). The car
was locked, but the interior doesn't look too bad (looking through the
windows), there is no rips in the drivers seat. The windshield has a crack,
but the owner warned me of that before hand. I couldn't get a look under
the hood, but the front of the sub frame looked wet (messy oil changes,
leaking PS system?). I expected the typical Gen I rust spots, rear quarters
behind the wheel wells and the lower edge of the truck lid. I also found
more surface rust than I was comfortable, with including a long hole in the
passenger A-pillar, not good. Not sure if it had a cable or rod shifter.
Personally unless you feel like doing some major sheet metal work, I think
this one has seen too many salty winters. It may make a good parts car, but
I have no way of knowing for sure since I didn't drive it or even hear the
engine run.
