It's got the rod shifter in it, and you can see a Plus hood on it too. Not
sure if that makes it worth it or not. It definitely doesn't have minor
surface rust, more like major rusting on the entire body. Might not look
like much from the pictures, but anyone that knows SHOs knows how they like
to rust. There's no way in hell $600 is going to make the exterior 100%,
more like $3000+ because of all the panels that will have to be replaced.
Also, solid metal is an outright lie, this is a 90's vehicle not a 40's
vehicle.. Behind all those rust spots is a sponge like filler material that
LOVES to absorb water (one would think they WANTED it to rust, oh wait, they
did). You can't just cut it out and weld new metal over it. Looking at the
amount of rust on the whole vehicle, I'd bet that you could just pull the
side skirts off the car. I think it's worth about $1000 because it's got a
rod shifter ($200) and a plus hood ($200). Anything more than that would
just be being generous. The seller on that auction sounds a bit sketchy in
their description, so I wouldn't trust anything they said, I'd go check it
out first with your own eyes.
