You can also disconnect the return line at the reservoir, the smaller 
diameter tube. Connect that to a longer piece of tubing to get it to a waste 
container. I like the front end on jack stands when I do this, but wheels on 
ground is probably the way it should be done [to put stress on the rack as 
the steering wheel is turned back and forth??]. Need a helper to start and 
turn the wheel. I use a few quarts [4] of cheap F fluid to flush the system 
then chase it with whatever you want in the system [ I used Valvoline 
Synthetic ATF with good results]. Be prepared, once the engine starts things 
happen quickly. Have the flushing fluid in a gallon container and a wide 
mouth funnel in the res. Have your helper turn the wheel lock to lock as many 
times as possible while flushing. I stop the engine after flushing, mainly to 
prepare for chasing the F fluid. The system holds little, less then a quart 
I'd suspect, I chase the F out with 2 quarts of good stuff. Good luck.   Bob
