If an Indy Fiero is worth something, can anyone tell me if a 1985 Olds
Calais 500 Indy Pace car is worth anything? I can't find any real info
on the car other than a few pictures of the real one on the track. I
know where there is a wrecked one that is going to be cheap. It's all
there though. 3.0 V6 in it makes me wonder what the H.P. is.
Blah Blah, I got this, I got that, mod this mod that
Can't put a picture in, blah blah blah.

Wrong, Ron. Your '88 GT is rare, but it's not the rarest Fiero.
'88 base coupe - 19,553
'88 GT - 6,848
'88 Formula - 5,475
'87 Sport Coupe - 3,135 (rare but not desirable)
'84 Indy Pace Car replica - 2,000
(rare, not a top performer, but commanding $$$$)

I will agree with you there, Ron.
1988 Fiero base prices
base coupe - $8,999
GT - $10,999
Formula - $13,999

I've never found actual MTX and ATX production numbers, but unfotunately
like the Corvette, I think there are many more ATX cars.

Hot tip?!?!? Only if you've got $5000+ burning a hole in your pocket.
Also, the Northstar must be used with its computer-controlled ATX. :^(
The most popular engine swap seems to be the Buick 3800 V-6 - excellent
hp
without the weight penalty of the SBC. I've even seen some Fiero's with
the
supercharged 3800, but now we're talking bucks again and ATX only.
My '84 SE will soon be getting a 180hp 2.3L Quad-4 HO/Getrag 5-spd to
replace the 92hp 2.5L Iron Duke/TH-125C 3-spd auto.
