Lowrider had to have two 1/8 inch spacers added when it got its MHT wheels and
Michelin Pilots back in the '90s. One was on the left front, and one was on the
right rear. They were necessary to have the tires' inner sidewalls clear the
struts. I subsequently had to roll the right rear fender lip to allow the tire to
clear it. The left rear required no adjustments. (This was after the rear clip had
been replaced after the big hit in New Mexico when it was one year old. I don't
know if it would have needed the rear spacer before that rebuild.....however, it has
never been hurt in the front.)
With the Potenzas, I was able to remove the spacers, still using the MHT wheels.
