All I used was a 90 degree plumbing elbow which I cut in half. I am sure
you could modify it to fit your needs too..

I'm in the process of getting my 80mm MAF in place. I have an adapter
for the MAF on the inlet side that should work fine mated up to the
stock airbox lid. I was planning on using a piece of SS exhaust pipe for
the run from the end of the MAF to the TB. Was gonna stay with the 3.5in
diameter that the MAF lets out with all the way up to the TB.

I know that I can spend $42 for a 3.5in to 3in reducing coupler in
silicone # F2HZ-6C640-G from Ford. But being the cheap bastard that I am
I'd love to find another cheaper source. I've been looking around the
home depot and I'm not sold on anything there. Specifically because
there is no give in any of the plumbing connectors. I want something
that will give a little as the engine moves around the very little that
it does (thanks to kirk's mounts) and I'm not going the clothes dryer
duct route.

What I want doesn't even have to be silicone, plain old rubber couplers
would do fine too. I'm searching around the net, but haven't found
anything good yet. If anyone knows of a place that I should look please
let me know
