If you're going to like the end product when it's running properly, there's no reason not to.

Heck, even if it doesn't work out to your satisfaction you can always part it out for more $$$ than you paid for it ;^)

It's been sitting for at least a couple of months, with the upper timing belt cover off and there is a lot of surface rust around that area and finally the water pump that's there seems to be seized, all though that could just be the rust.  I've been dying to get my hands on a manual for a long time and if it is a simple repair, I could be getting a bargain SHO.  But I need some objective advice as I have a tendency to jump head first where angels fear to tread...  I can do all of the work that seems to be needed.
