[Shotimes] End links

Kirk is correct, the swaybar can affect the ride height if the links put the
chassis in a bind condition. The OEM rear links will almost always
introduce some amount of this condition. It is just very difficult to
measure without a set of scales.

It will affect ride height. I know it makes no sense, but it does. All of
mine 97 and the 91 squat about 1/2 to a full inch because of the shorter
endlinks. It acts as a clamp between the body structure and the strut.

Also remember one thing Don, I NEVER had a car come around with the 26mm
(too stiff) bar as most others do.. I cant explain or repeat stuff very
well, but having the ability to hang out with Circle track car builders,
Drag car builders and just in general Chassis builders has helped out a lot.

If you could see this Mustang Chassis that my tranny guy just built for a
Drag Fun 8 to 9 sec car you would die! It's a piece of art..

If he was talking about the the sway bar it should not
effect ride height at all. The sway bar is not in tension
when both wheels are sitting level. It only comes into play
when one wheel moves up or down in relationship to the
other. The bar can tip up or down quite a bit, so the only
real effect would be possible interference or a slight
change in the sway bar tension when the wheels move.
