[Shotimes] OT: Case against Iraq

That is the thing. The inspectors aren't supposed to find ANYTHING. When the
inspectors went to South Africa, that government led them to each and every
place and the inspectors cataloged the stuff. If it was found to be
prohibited, the inspectors oversaw the destruction of it and documented it.

Part of the resolution for Iraq is that they are supposed to 1. Show us what
they have. 2. Show us what happened to the stuff we knew they had (should
still be there or some sort of proof of destruction). 3. Stop trying to get
more stuff.

They are inspectors, not detectives. How would you expect 100 people to find
stuff in a country the size of California, especially when you keep moving
it around?

That is what people don't seem to understand. The inspectors saw WMD in Iraq
from 1991-1998 and destroyed a fair amount of it. The inspectors know how
much they had left over to be destroyed. Iraq is supposed to lead the
inspectors to each place and show what happened to the old stash as well as
any new stuff they've produced.
