Floyd,
Replacing the starter is a total breeze. I have found that nine times out
of ten, when a starter fails it is the brushes that are the problem. You
can purchase a set of brushes and brush holder for your SHO from NAPA. IIRC
they are about ~$30 for the brush ring and brushes and they are simple to
install.
