[Shotimes] slow sho, just driver?

Gee, most stock SHO's are in the low-15's, and BOS SHO's are in the mid to
high 14's. As nice as the new Sentra SE-R Spec V (not V-Spec, as is the
Skyline GT-R), it is nowhere near as quick as my stock SHO.
BTW, concerning that 175 hp Spec V, or 165 hp standard SE-R... I think it
is marketing hype, because all the dyno tests I have seen, the cars are not
putting any more power to the ground than the original 140hp SE-R with the
2.0L. Just do a search for it, start by going to sportcompactcarweb.com (or
wherever the website is now for Sport Compact Car magazine), they where one
of the first to dyno the cars, and one of the first to report the
unexplained loss of power.
These cars are very entertaining to drive, however. And my comments should
not be taken that I do not like these cars. I do like them, but they are
not as quick as an SHO in pure acceleration, but they are much better at
handling the twisties than a SHO (at least a stock SHO) could ever imagine.
Since the original poster didn't rev beyond 5k, he never got the SHO into
it's powerband. Gee, that's almost like an owner of an S2000 saying he was
outrun by an SHO, but he never revved beyond 7k rpm (an S2k's powerband is
pretty much from 7k to 9k rpm).
