The coil pulls the outer disc against the pulley face, and yes it's metal to
metal (magnetic). The disc is pretty easy to change, the pulley and coil
are harder as the fender makes it tough to get snap ring pliars in there to
pull the rings off. If you are doing a clutch and have the subframe off,
this is a great time to do any AC clutch work. Nothing is in the way and it
takes 2 secs.
