I would call it a pressure switch - In any case it goes to the switch on top
of the receiver/drier/accumulator/etc.

The 89 did not have a High pressure switch.
By color code, it's not the AC clutch or the AC Cyling switch, either.
The coolant level sensor is supposed to have RED/WHITE and BLACK wires.
This is the closest I can find to your report.
