[Shotimes] Removing ext. door handles - Easiest method?

The only way I know is to drill them out. I would reinstall the rivets
instead of useing a nut and bolt. Not much room for anything else and never
loosen up. The problem I had putting them on is that the rivets are 1/4"
diameter. Too big for my rivet tool. I went to the Ford dealer. Used their
big compound hand rivet tool in the parking lot. Be careful because it takes
a good bit of force to break the stem. I scratched my new paint on the rear
one. The tool nose jumped when the rivet sheared. I would have two people to
avoid that again. Use the Ford Rivets they fit.
