[Shotimes] Timing Belt & Cam Seal Replacement Questions!

Well, not to talk you out of a timing belt change, but..........I just
changed the rear cam seal on my '90, which I should have done when I did the
60K. Took all of an hour or 2. But I have a right angle air drill which
makes all the difference. Maybe you can find one, or perhaps an adaptor on
a Dremel? At any rate, pull the battery, PS reservoir, and remove the roll
damper and bracket. Then loosen tension on the water pump belt, and pull it
loose. This will allow removal of the front timing cover. Then you're
there. Piece of cake. I have never put any silicon on any seals, my older
Helms (90) doesn't mention that.
