[Shotimes] Rear strut mounts

Well, I will not be the person to diss third-grade dropouts who now have
procured a minimum-wage job doing alignments at Sears.....

The front-end stuff....yeah, tie rod ends & the LCA can affect alignment.

FWIW, I do not know of any reason why a rear strut mount would possibly
affect alignment. They are on the top of the strut/spring combo, and they
are what rests against the body structure. They are NOT replaced in a normal
strut replacement , unless you pay extra for them. If you hear a clunking
from the rear over bumps, the rear strut mounts are most likely wearing out.
SHO Nut carries them (http://www.shonutperformance.com/), as do parts
stores, Ford, etc.

I went to sears to get an allignment yesterday and the told me that they
couldnt because of three things. 1)passenger side inner tierod, which was
replaced less than one year ago. 2)passenger side ball joint, already had a
bad feeling on that one and picked up the part this morning. 3)rear strut
mounts, dont know what they are checked my books and could not find
anything. Are the also called something else? And where are they located
and how do you check them and how much are the parts to do them. Thanks in
advance.
