I guess it depends on which open-wheel cars we're talking about.  My desktop
background has a nice picture of the Ferrari F1 2000 car and now that Ron
mentioned it, I don't see where they would put such a bar.  All I can see on
the front are what look like control arm supports, and steering linkage.

BTW, I didn't tell you the 95 has 17" wheels with 235/45 tires.  With those
big mitts, the car feels more planted on the ground than my car with the
215/60s.

I don't know for sure, but they always seem to talk about how the open wheel
guys can adjust the sway bars from inside the cockpit.
