[Shotimes] pulley to battery clearance

Be careful when replacing the A/C belt, all the auto parts stores in this
area have the wrong size listed. They always give me a size smaller than
what I need. Off the top of my head I think they always give me a 455 and I
need a 460.

If the belt is the correct size, I'd double check the tensioner. Make sure
the adjusting screw is not wedged inside the bracket housing (ie the e-clip
is missing and the screw head fell into the bracket housing).

Let me know if you have any other questions!

>Yes there should be... typically the clearance disappears when the
>tensioner
>pulley is out of adjustment. ie, the accessory belt is either loose or is
>too small. Check the tension in your A/C belt. There should be plenty of
>room between the pulley and the battery.

>>Hey, should there be a bit more than a gnat's a-- between the battery and
>>the pulley on my MTX? The battery is secured with the factory 3 way
>>bracket, so I'm pretty sure it can't be moved away - so, if the subframe
