FYI,
There are always 911s F/S on the 911 list, but this is an especially sweet
car! This car needs nothing! It also looks pretty good with the RS
fiberglass rear bumper. You can also get the track tires if you wish. You
can access his website below. The car is in FL.
For yourself or someone you know, this would be a nice ride.

Subject: [911] swapping 911's
Gang,
Yesterday I test drove a '73 911T that a Porsche-friend has for sale in
Daytona Beach. I
loved the car so much I have decided to sell my SC in order to make room for
this baby in
my garage.
I will be posting an ad for my car in the next day or so but thought I'd put
the message
out for now as a general alert. My car's 3.0 had the engine completely
disassembled,
inspected, and all worn parts replaced in December 1999. The machine work
was done at MPD,
the facility that does all of Alex Job Racing's work in Tavares Florida. All
told....the
final invoice just for the engine work was in the neighborhood of 8K and
included
cylinders honed, new lower case studs, crankshaft polished and magnafluxed,
rods sized and
bushed, pistons reconditioned, heads surfaced, new guides and exhaust
valves, new rod and
main bearings, new rings, new wrist pins, new crankshaft main and pulley
seals, new case
squirters, new (used) rocker arms and shafts, Carrera tensioner kit, new
clutch, new cam
chains, new oil return tubes, etc. The transmission was overhauled at the
same time period
while the engine was out and is flawless as a 915 can be. The tab on that
work alone was
1.1K and was done by the best shop in the area. The Targa top was also
restored by Dan
Petchel at Cars, Inc and it was a full restoration. Other upgrades include
Carrera fender
cooler, front spoiler w'brake ducts, RS style rear bumper, turbo tie rods,
H-4's, SSI's,
camber brace/strut, 944 turbo brakes and rotors, Hawk Blue pads, (these
brakes will stop
you in a heartbeat), 7" and 8" Fuchs, Recaro SRDs, Scroth 5pt. harnesses, SE
harness bar,
etc etc. The engine is fuel injected as it came from the factory and runs
strong. I also
have available and extra set of 7" and 8" Fuchs, with A032R track tires with
good tread,
for someone who wants to do track events. However, they would be sold
separately as they
were not cheap.
I'm thinking about a $14K price but some of the track stuff could be swapped
out with the
original SC components if someone wanted a lower price. The stuff I have put
into the car
is worth quite a bit in itself but I'm ready to move into retro mode with
the '73 and am
motivated to sell so if anyone has an interest feel free to let me know and
we'll go from
there. I'll have a webpage set up later this evening with recent pics etc
but for now you
can see a lot of it on www.bazzaland.com .
Thanks!
