I've been chasing a drivability problem now for some time.
I've got a 92MTX with 125K on her.  During light throttle, if I
let off, then lightly get back on, I experience a jerking motion
similar to towing a trailer.  I've been through the entire ignition
system, the fuel system.....replaced motor mounts, sub frame
bushings....CID, TPS, CPS, IAV...you name it, I've checked,
cleaned or replaced it.  She screams on the top end, but around
town she's a pain.  Could there be an ECM problem?  Strut
bushings look OK.....could there be an issue with them?  Recently
aligned with no problems.
