I know what you're talking about.  I had inquired of various people on and
off the list about this and was told that it basically is just all the 
slop in
a front wheel drive setup.  So I've learned to live with the annoyance. 
It's
most noticable to me when I'm cruising through a parking lot looking for a
space.  That's my take anyways.  I've never had one new so I don't know
what it's like on a car with no wear to the suspension.
