Oh YEAH!!!!
That particular part of the whole thing has GOT to be the most disgusting display of
NON-engineering by anyone or anything that I have EVER seen. If I were Ford, I'd
say that they hired someone from GM, and that the radiator support/radiator
fasteners was his first assignment.
Every Taurus radiator I have ever worked on has ALWAYS had at least one less bolt
replaced in the radiator support, for the radiator clips, than it did before I
started on it. Even Christina's car, which is absolutely PRISTINE, had one nutclip
strip out when I was trying to reassemble it. (Don't nobody point no fingers at
ME......I tried every way I could to get each of those non replaced bolts to start,
but they WOULDN'T do it!!!)
