Thanks all for your input so far... the cleaning procedure suggested by Al 
Fitz seems like a good way to go.

This place called headlightwarehouse.com on the net has been suggested as a 
source for headlights in the past on the list. They are charging $135 for 
SHO headlights but only $97 for Sable ones.

Is this likely because the SHO ones come with the fishtanks, or do you 
think this is our typical SHO "premium" pricing?

Would the Sable ones be OK for a Gen II?
