Just got done changing mine.  Out of a '92 or '93, the owner wasn't sure,
into my '90.  The part no's. were way different, which was scary, but it
works just fine.  If your wipers work at all, its probably not the motor,
especially if they will go to park pos.  Also, does the washer pump work?
If so this points to the wiper governor.  The part no. from the one I put in
was, according to Ford, for a Mark, Grand Marq, or CV.  Sort of a pain;
you'll be under the dash on your back with your feet in the back seat.  But
it can be done in half an hour.
